My car is only 4 yrs old and only has 40,000 miles. A couple of weeks ago, I heard an odd rattle underneath. Actually, it would come and go - but was pretty loud sometimes. I took it in today to have the oil changed and the rattle checked.
Gary called me and asked me if I wanted the bad news or the worse news

So, the estimate was $1,200
(broken pipe related to the air conditioner). I have an extended warranty but they couldn't find it online when Gary was at the dealer (I have a copy), so I don't know how much, if any, it will cover. It's a good warranty and I'm sure it will cover, at least some of it. I SURE HOPE SO!
Oh, and they rotated the tires and found a crack in one tire that was less than a year old. Gary promptly took it back to where we got it and he got a new tire - FREE! YAY!
