When I was 21 and my sister was turning 15, I got my parents permission to give her a puppy for her Birthday. Thinking I'd be funny, I bought a 3 lb bag of puppy chow to go with it and wrapped that up to hand her first. I figured she'd see what it was and say "But I don't have a dog!"
She eagerly unwrapped the package and started crying and screaming at me because she took it to mean I was insinuating she was a dog! I had to whip the puppy out from behind my back quick to shut her up.
That one sure didn't go over like I'd planned!
