I think it is a brilliant idea, it looks just perfect for him, he will be able to do all his tinkering with cars etc, that he enjoys doing in those outbuildings, what a fantastic price too.
I hope it all works out to suit everyone. In an ideal world it would work out if he could afford to get it himself, and get a start on the property ladder, however if he cant get mortgage himself, and he is sure about living there and you can buy it yourself, then let him rent from you, that could work out well for all concerned.
Also it isnt too far away from home..... and there looks like plenty of room for him to take his dogs too
He is very lucky to have a good Mum and Dad, that are prepared to do such a thing for him.... make sure he understands that wont you
