I made a quick trip to Houston this weekend. Brooke called on Thursday and wanted me to come down. We've had a lot of fun today, shopping, baking and just being together.
They say the hurricane coming into the gulf may hit closer to New Orleans and there was a message from the hurricane center tonight that after it makes landfall, it may drift west at full strength to HOUSTON!
We just saw that a few minutes ago on the tracking models, so I guess the kids will get things ready tomorrow. They already have all their emergency packs and three generators, but will need to get some gasoline, water and food that doesn't needvpreparation, in case they are without power. The trackers won't really know till Monday where it will make landfall or what it will do afterwards, but I the kids are going to get ready anyway. Bryan has been through a hurricane when he lived in FL, but it's been a long time.
