I received a gift last year that I know a couple had received as a wedding gift (we were at their shower), and my daughter received a gift from the same couple that we had given him for his birthday a few years ago. People need to be more careful recycling gifts. In our case, this couple is very special and we know their heart is in the right place, and they have no idea that we realize what they did. Life can be interesting and humorous at times.  |
Yes she knew before she gave it to me. The sad part is when my MIL passed my FIL was going to give it to me. That same day she stole it from the house. She had it hanging in her house for the next year then took it down and wrapped it up and gave it to me for Christmas. Her husband flat out told us it was because she felt guilty everytime we came up there and seen it on her wall.
