I'm glad to finally hear from you. I'd been wondering how things went. It sounds like everything basically went ok. We all have cooking stories about overcooking and undercooking, at least yours turned out ok even if it was a little later than you were planning.

Now that you have your apartment all back in order you deserve a rest. I wouldn't worry about Christmas, you have the perfect excuse for Phil......"Well, since I spent Thanksgiving with your family, I thought that we'd spend Christmas with my family."
