Hi Everyone, it's good to see you all on 4WT!

Janet, I love the pics of your mom's violets. My grandma could grow violets and I just loved them!

Diana, I'm sorry you are not feeling well. You know you have to get that blood sugar under control. It's odd that it started being high so suddenly. Even though it's been high at least 3 months, that's still pretty sudden. Blood sugar usually creeps up pretty slowly. Whatever is the cause, it may reverse. If you have to go on insulin though, it's not the end of the world. It becomes very routine and just a bit of a hassle. At first though, you think it's awful, but it gets easy and routine pretty quickly.

My school was out last week but I'm still pretty busy. Like everyone our weather has been pretty crazy this spring. We have been hot then cold then hot then cold. Overall though, it has been a cooler spring so I am grateful for that.

I'm going to Oklahoma to see Gary's family this weekend. I think I'll stay will Monday or Tuesday, no need to rush back since classes are over. Gary went into the hospital 1 year ago today and as you know, didn't ever get out. He died on May 24th, so that date is coming up. I have been pretty down today, and I'm thinking this is going to be a hard month. But I'll be very busy this whole month, so I won't have too much time to mope around.

I've also been busy planning for our Europe trip. Abigail and I leave for London June 6 - gosh that's a month from today!!! I'm a little nervous, but excited also! I've got lots to do between now and then.

It's good to hear from you all!
