It's not too late to send cards. It's just December 8th. I sent out around 100 last year. I always thought that I had to hand address each envelope and that took time which I didn't have. Last year I got smart and streamlined things a lot and entered everyone into an Excel spreadsheet. I can print the clear Avery mailing labels, and they look nice. That way all I have to do is write in each card & if you sit down and just do it, it doesn't take much time at all. This year I just have to make a few updates on the spreadsheet and I'm good to go. May get my daughters to do them next week if I don't get them done this weekend. Melissa (aka Lissa on 4WT) will be home from school.

I send out cards with snowmen and Christmas trees that I buy at Walmart, not expensive, but it's the thought, right?!

We receive way less than we send, but the reason to send them and so many is that many of them go to people who are older, some are widowed and we just want them to know that someone thought of them at Christmas.

They have some really pretty snowflake stamps this year, too. The cost is less than for our whole family to go to Chili's or Red Lobster to eat, so it's not really so bad, and hopefully it brings a little joy to the receivers.
