I never really thought about this, I'll have to tell my roommate about it, she naturally doesn't have eyebrows and she hates having to take the time to draw them on every morning.
I've got too much eyebrows, their pretty thick and thanks the my family's sometimes horrific genes I've got a bit of a unibrow that I've routinely gotta pluck...
How does electrolysis work? Does it last for a while then it grows back? If so, how long does it take to grow back? And how much does it cost?

Electrolysis is the only proven form of PERMANENT hair removal. I had the most horrific eyebrows, very wild and thick, but thanks to electrolysis, they are now perfect and they are permanent....they don't grow back. Different electrolysises charge different rates. Some charge by the minute (like $3 per minute) and some charge per every 15 minutes and can be as much as $45 for 15 minutes. It just depends on the person and how they run their business. And it depends on how bad your eyebrows are as to how long it will take to remove all the hair that is necessary. Since you have been plucking your eyebrows, the hair may grow back once or twice max, but it will get thinner and thinner and eventually it won't grow back at all. I would look in the yellowpages or look on
www.whitepages.com and just look under "Electrolysis" to see who in your area does this. The difference bt electrolysis and laser is that you can only do electrolysis on small areas....your face, toes, fingers, bikini area, underarms....you could not get it done in your legs or arms as you have to do one hair at a time and it would just not be feasible. That is where laser comes in....laser can do large areas, but it is not proven to be a permanent form of hair removal.
If you have anymore questions about electrolysis, just ask! I would highly recommend it to anyone. By the time you pay to wax for many years, you could have paid for electrolysis to be done and it is permanent.
