My birthday and our anniversary and his graduation for his Master's were all at the end of October, then Christmas, now V-day, then his b-day is in 2 months. I just got a scrapbook album that I'm going to put together with pictures of us throughout the time we've been together. I thought it would be a nice gesture. We're not celebrating until next Friday though. I didn't want to have to get up and go to work if I was hungover from champagne.

This sounds sooo special. I think romance is important and it really does help when one if not both are the romantic type.
My hubby and I have always tried to make it a special time and it really doesn't have to cost that much.
I will always remember one year we wanted to do something different. So I made Valentines kind of a game. I said we both had to make each other a card BUT only use items found already in the home. So for an hour we both scurried around secretly finding all our stuff to make the cards. We then hid alone in bedrooms while we each created our special Valentine.
I will never forget that day, it was awesome!!
