Maybe you could just skip over the posts that ask where you got her? It seems like a good opportunity for you. Is there a reason she has a bad rep (like mean to the dogs or something) or is it just that people don't like her? Cause I'm sure in the competitive world of breeding and showing, it wouldn't be far-fetched for people to make up rumors about others.
I'd say go with your gut, but I don't think a reputation is necessarily the most important thing. Maybe you could do your own investigation and then decide.
