THIS pair of red heels on Sunday. There's just something about a cute new pair of shoes that makes a girl feel fabulous.
(Don't you agree?) I'm such a shoe-girl. But, anyways...
My first time wearing my fabulous new pair of red heels was last night. While walking into the restaurant with my husband to meet up with a handful of friends, a terrible thing happened......my right heel broke OFF!
I was so bummed that I "limped" into the restaurant and plopped down into a chair at the table with my friends. I pulled off my heel and with my big pouty bottom-lip pooched out, I whined to the girls about what had just happened to my fun new shoes. All the girls immediately sympathized and suggested I take them back, etc.
My husband speaks up and tells the group,
"well, I don't understand why you can't just break the other heel off and keep wearing them!"
The table fell *silent* as my husband received blank unenthralled looks from all the girls. The other guys at the table cracked up laughing. I must admit I laughed too. My husband was like,
"ok, ok, maybe not then."
