I'm interested in EMS and ER Nursing. I'm an adrenaline and medical junkie; I want to be a Paramedic and when I burn out be an ER or Trauma Nurse. My dad was recently in the ER and he had an amazing nurse, she was really friendly, and that's what I want to be eventually. I'm planning on talking to the advisors when I get back to school, and I know a family that is doing just what I want to do, the wife is a nurse at a local hospital in the emergency department if I remember correctly and her husband was a paramedic and is going to school to be a nurse, so I'm planning on setting up lunch with them sometime soon. Mum sounds a bit excited, everyone's been wondering what I would do with a Political Science degree. And as a Paramedic I could get part of my money back for the nursing school tuition because they value continued education. |
