Walking is a great exercise for weight loss.  Add some free weights - some dumbbells for strength and get a book that uses them creatively, add some stretches for safety and you are in good shape to lose safely and to keep it off.

 Thanks Kate...I know what to do...I'm working on the WW points system right now, I'm just discouraged after one week.  I know what exercises to do...I've been walking and more.  That's why I asked about the Slim In Six DVD's they look good, and makes you feel like you're not exercising alone.  They just cost so much!
