I actually love the real trees. Luckily hubby nor I have any allergy problems. But....we usually don't buy the real Christmas tree's because they are already so dry and are afraid of any fire damage. We have an artificial one that I guess is about time to be dragged from the attic.
Honestly...I think it's just easier to skip the tree all together, LOL. Just throw presents around the recliner or something and call it good.
Oh, and make all that smelly good stuff you talked about.
