Brendon wants to call the police, but what would we say? The people at the hospital have given us so little information as to why they even had that suspicion that I wouldn't know what to say to the police. We also want to leave that decision to Brendon's dad. He has so little control over his life (because of his wife) and we don't want to make him feel even less in control... Does that make sense at all?
I just don't know what to do!
The hospital might be sending him home tomorrow, even though the problem with his blood isn't fixed and he's still needing transfusions several times a day...just because he doesn't have insurance! I am just so frustrated with this whole situation!!!! Brendon is so worried that he's starting to feel physically ill. I feel so helpless...

Angie, maybe your FIL is frightened. Has Brendon or the Dr.'s said anything to him about the suspicion of poison? Maybe he'll want to have the police involved, can't you ask him? I would tell the police everything you know, including all the other things she's done including the stomping of his foot. Now is the time to start writing all the things down with dates if possible. The information may come in handy.
If he goes home, just keep checking on him. If he continues to lose blood, she may not call for help and he may be too weak to help himself.
This has me so worried, I can't imagine what it's doing to your family.
