I don't think they realized the roads were that icy. The house was being moved from about 2 hours away I think, and just on grid roads so it's pretty tough to tell. The housing market here is booming, so this guy is now going to have to wait at least another 2 years for a new house!
I was so surprised by the presents under the tree because my parents had said we were just getting money for Christmas this year, which was completely fine by me! They didn't even ask us what we wanted! None of the gifts were really very expensive so it worked out okay and we still got our money, but still had a few gifts to open on Christmas morning
And Cherelle is a very good friend of mine. I moved to that town when I was 6 years old, and my parents told my brother and I to go out and make some friends so we hopped on our bikes and Cherelle was the first person we met! The only fight we ever had was when we were 13, and it lasted one hour lol! We now live about 5 hours apart, but she's one of the few people from back home that I still talk to.
