Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize I hadn't posted about it here. Marty has scabs on his ears that just won't go away. The vet has tested for everything we can think of and now we are treating it as if it's allergies, but she's worried that it may be vasculitis caused by an underlying auto-immune disease such as lupus. Bren and I are so worried. The allergy meds made the scabs go away, but now his ears just have dark black circles where the scabs used to be. Also, he's been losing lots of hair, especially on his ears...
We are going to the vet next week to see if he has to have a biopsy or not. We're hoping she says it's just allergies.
