No, the teller didn't hear our Pastor but my husband was laughing and told her anyway! I really enjoy our Pastor and his wife! They're such wonderful people! They're Zach's grandparents too. They're planning on leaving this fall after being here for 10 years. It's going to be so hard to have them leave.
On the first Sunday of each month the Children's Church comes in the sanctuary and they collect all the change that's in people's purses and pockets to go towards a project. Usually it's a few cents or a couple of dollars that you don't miss. Anyway a couple of months ago our pastor started giving out dollar bills. When he got done he looked at Glen and said "Glen, do you have a five dollar bill?" Glen looked and said "Yes." Then Pastor said "Glen, do you have a ten dollar bill?" And Glen said "Yes." (By the way as he's saying this his bills and Glens's bills are being added to what the kids are picking up!!) Then he says "Glen, do you have a twenty dollar bill?" Glen's getting a little bit flustered by this time but he says "Yes." Then.........sure enough he did it again, "Glen, do you have a fifty dollar bill?" Glen reluctantly told him yes. Then he said "Glen, do you have a one hundred dollar bill? Oh wait, we won't go there!!" My husband was so relieved because, yes, he had a one hundred dollar bill!!! Of course, buy the time it was over everyone was laughing!!! I told my husband that he should have said "I think that Roger has a fifty dollar bill too!" and passed it around!!!!
