A very good friend of mine has 2 dogs and she heard the dogs outside suddenly start to squeal and carry on. She opened the door to let them in and learned they'd both been sprayed by a skunk. By the time she got them back outside the odor was already in the house.

She did everything she could to get the dogs and the house de-skunked and after almost a week she felt she'd succeeded.

She's also a Sunday school teacher so went to teach the following week and when she walked in people started sticking their noses in the air and sniffing... Oh wow there must be a skunk outside they all decided... be careful going out to your cars!

Donna was too embarrassed to admit the smell was coming from her. She's gotten desensitized to it so hadn't realized she smelled as bad as her dogs.
That poor girl!!! LOL
