Best gift you've ever received? - The day my beloved doberman was put to sleep, a friend had be go over to another's friends house to see a litter of Border Terrier puppies being born - one of the little pups wouldn't stop shaking, so the breeder had me hold him against my chest to keep him warm (for 2 hours I held him and cried because I missed my dobie, and he just snuggled into my neck) - 10 weeks later, and several visits later - she gave me (free of charge) that little puppy because she said she couldn't imagine him with anyone else.

38. Believe in love at first sight? Yes - it was love at first sight for me and my husband. We were each walking our dogs on a hiking trail and just started walking together. I went home afterward and called Gayle to ask her if she believed in love at first sight - because I had just found the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. 8 years later I still think he's the most amazing man on the planet.
