WOW! That really sucks! I'm sorry you're having a bad time with eBay. I finally stopped shopping on there, too.
You have 30 days to file a complaint with eBay and 90 (I believe) with paypal.
I had sold 2 outfits ($65) to a lady in Canada. Since it was out of country, I could not get a tracking number. Well, customs held up the outfits and she filed a complaint against me. Paypal froze my account and since I could not provide tracking numbers, I was forced to repay her. The outfits never got returned to me so I know that she got them, got her money back and I had was out for shipping her the outfits. Since then, I refuse to ship out of the country.
Another instance, I got The Notebook on DVD. It played just fine on our DVD player but mid movie, it was messed up. Their lips would move but sound had about a 2 second delay so it reminded me of those old Chinese Kung Foo movies. I sent the item back and guess how much I was refunded????? A $17 movie and I was refunded $0.17. I was FURIOUS and unfortunately, there was nothing I could do about it.
