My Mom's Critical

Hey, I hope you are all doing well.

My Mom's gallbladder ruptured and she has been in the hospital since last Thursday (in LA). She had a 6-hour surgery on Friday and is on respirator and in "very critical" condition. The short of it: a huge stone went out of her gall bladder (through the walls), into the her small intestine (through the walls), moved down and was blocking, therefore everything (bile, etc.) was leaking into her body cavity and making an infection. She's at a 30% survival rate and now her heart's acting up.

Hubby and I drove home last night, I slept in my bed instead of the hospital waiting room, and now I'm heading back. Red Cross is bringing my son in from Iraq, so hubby will be picking him up at the AP.

Please keep my Mother and family in your prayers.
