Next time, you should try it with a tripod. The "fireworks" setting probably makes your shutter speed longer which would give you more camera shake and more blur. A tripod will keep the camera steady and still while the pic is being taken.
Thanks for all the compliments. I've really been trying to improve my photos lately and I think I've come a long way from where I started. It's definitely a hobby I enjoy!
