THANK YOU ALL for your prayers and thoughts. I'm actually doing OK, just tired. One of the worst things for me is that I've had to sign both my parents off life support and I can't seem to lose that guilt. I keep telling myself that medicine had done all it could and that I had to sign the papers so that medicine could turn it over to God.
My sister turned out to be a "butt head", so I had to do some walking away from a few things. I never would have thought that she'd do some of the things she's doing. But, we gave her remains a very nice send off.
My son had just left on Saturday, so I had to tell him while he was in transit back to Iraq. He wanted to come back, but I told him not to. He sent an e-mail that a couple of my Mom's g-kids got up and read. The funeral was at the church I grew up in, where 5 generations of my family are members.
