I never thought of getting a window unit, I guess I always just try to live with it because it only gets hot enough for air conditioning maybe 2 or 3 months of the year here
Last night I went into the backyard and turned the sprinkler on for Layla. She ran around for about an hour and she enjoyed the cool water. I feel bad for her being in my sweltering house while I'm in a nice air conditioned office all day! By this weekend it is supposed to cool down to a normal temperature again.
Just wait until January and I'll be complaining about the complete opposite
I can't stand when it gets to -40 or -50 and you can't be outside for 10 minutes without getting frostbite!
