It also took a very long time for my mom's parents' headstone to come in. My grandpa died about 3 years before my grandma and they both wanted to be cremated (sorry, this may be gross for some). So my grandma kept his ashes in an Urn. My mom ordered the headstone when my grandma died and it took like 4 months to create. She did something on it that I thought was really cool. My little brother and I are the only two that called them "Grandpa Buck" and "Grandma Bear." My mom had those names in quotes under their names on the headstone. The rest of it was pretty intricate, which could have been why it took a while.
