I have Layla in a puppy cut too, but I get it done by her groomer. She won't sit still for me! Layla had the same beautiful silver coat, but it matted terribly! And we don't have A/C so a couple of years ago it was super hot in the summer and I felt so terrible for her so I got it cut. It's so much easier to take care of now! She's much softer to cuddle with and I don't have to bathe and brush her so often! I did keep the hair on her head a little longer so I can put topknots in (I didn't want all my bows to go to waste
)
