Hi Everyone!
We are back and we had a ball! Gary has to use one of those motorized carts, because he just can't do that much walking without using portable oxygen and you can imagine that he doesn't want to do that in BASS PRO, for goodness sakes! Anyway, the motorized cart meant that I walked and walked and walked round and round while he shopped and shopped and shopped!!!

He bought a fishing reel and a shirt. I bought a couple of tops on sale for my granddaughter whose birthday is next month. Gary picked out a knife that I will get him for his birthday (I can get it at lots of places, not just Bass Pro). He really had a great time and that made it all worth it.

We stopped at Camping World on the way down and found the book we were looking for. The book contains information about and the location of all the Corps of Engineers campgrounds in the U.S. Since Gary is disabled, we can stay there for 1/2 price. The usual price is $16-$20, so $8-$10 for us. That is really a good deal as it is usually around $25-$30 to stay in private campgrounds. The Corps of Engineers campgrounds are usually really very nice and very well maintained.

We ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel - YUM! Just the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, and a pancake.

Then we ate lunch at Luby's (a cafeteria) - YUM again. I had a salmon patty (my favorite entree at Luby's), creamed cauliflower, and rosemary new potatoes.

We got home about 3:00 and we both took a nap!!! We had a great day!
