I'm planning on bathing and trimming Layla tonight
Today is really cold, windy, and rainy. I slept in until 9:30 and then had a long bubble bath. Finally I went to the store to buy some more mandarin oranges (they're so good, we've been going through a box a week!), some laundry detergent, a muffin pan, and some baking supplies
Apparently everyone goes shopping on rainy days, because I stood in line at the check-out for at least 15 minutes!
When I got home, I started baking carrot muffins, and now I have apple crisp in the oven
So my house smells like baking and rain. I love it!
I also found this really cool station on my tv that plays all "big band" music from the 30's and 40's
So that's been playing all day. It's nice and relaxing to listen to!
Scott just called and he's about a half hour from home, he just pulled off to a little town because he's riding his motorbike and he's pretty cold and wet! I can't wait for him to get here!
