Pictures of the camp house
Hi All! I am just back from the weekend at the hunting lease with Gary and LOTS of his family. I took some pictures. Now, remember, Gary and the guys built this little place out of reclaimed/used items. The 3 of them built it over about 3 months, about 8 years ago. It is 800 sq. ft.

living area - yes, all the "horns" were taken on the place - as well as the bobcat

outside - the Texas drought is really evident, not a green blade of grass anywhere!!!

And the most important ones - yes, they were very COLD! in the first two pix, it was about 60 in the house and they were very COLD!!!

It looks like you had a good time! The cabin on our lease burned down this fall
 I'm not sure what the guys are gonna do about it. You can tell your cabin has a woman's touch...curtains on the windows, organized and clean Mike and Gary are so much alike it's not even funny...they even have the same toys, lol!!

I bet Mike and Gary would get along great - especially since they both have health problems but still enjoy the outdoors and hunting and fishing. It takes everything Gary has to do it, but he loves it and as long as he can, that's what he needs to do (in more ways than one).

I would love to have a place like that...very rustic, but nice. I love camping and fishing, but we sold our pop up camper because I didn't feel the babies would be safe enough in it. I wish we had a hard shell or a motor home.
I love the looks of the whole area Gayle.

What a cute little cabin!! I bet that the guys have really enjoyed having that to get away to!!! I love the idea that they built it themselves!!!
