eeek! So excited!
Okay ladies, all this good stuff keeps happening in my life and I just need to share! Well, my whole life I've kinda been tall and scrawny and I've always been told "You should look into modeling!" I have always really really wanted to, but I'm too modest. I've had 2 meetings with agencies that I backed out of last minute because I just got too scared! So about a month ago I found this ad from a photographer who is just kinda starting out and he's looking for models for his stuff. I checked out his website (http://www.chrishendricksonphoto.com) and everything looked legit so I emailed him. Today I met with him for coffee and he explained his business and what he's looking for. He basically just takes "lifestyle" type pictures and sends them to a bigger company who may use them in magazines or billboards or whatever. We had a good talk and I mentioned my dog and my interests and he said he has a concept of people with their dogs that he would like to do, and he's also thinking of a dog-walker type shoot, so he's very interested in both me AND my yorkie! Then he said that when a shoot is done, he can make a disc of my photos for use in my portfolio. Real models have portfolios!!!! I am so excited and giddy right now!

Wow!!! I don't blame you for being excited. And a portfolio - how fancy.
Keep looking in the mirror and enjoy yourself. Keep us posted, especially with pix (from your portfolio, of course)

Wow that is exciting! I hope everything works out well, and it would be great if you got a portfolio out of it and if your dog could get in on the shots!!!
