Puppies leaving me
I have 6 appointments over the next 3 days with buyers picking up their puppies.
It's a bittersweet time. I'll miss the little buggers, but SO enjoy watching the excitement of the buyers when they finally get their pup. I know this is just part of breeding, and Lucky for me I still have my 2 week old litter, Gypsy, and one male black 8 week old pup to play with.

Tink, so happy that your breeding program is sooooo successful!!! I'm sure it is hard to part with them, but this is what it is all about. At least they are going to forever homes. When we were raising cattle, some of the calves were so cute, and it was fun to watch them grow. Some of them really seemed to have their own personalities and then we had to send them to auction. We knew they weren't going to forever homes.
 Your breeding program must be sooo rewarding.

I got a sweet surprise today. One of my buyers arrived to pick up their puppy and had a list of things their vet (a family friend of theirs) had given her of things she needed to ask me for. I was able to say they were all already in her puppy packet... so no further effort required on my part. LOL She was so relieved and happy that she gave me a $20 tip to offset the cost of the things I had for her. This is the first time I've ever gotten a tip on the sale of a puppy. lol
