My Laptop is Fixed!!!
I checked online this morning and was sent a message that my laptop was fixed....yay!!!!!
 As soon as I got home from the route I hurried to Lafayette to pick it up. It was still under manufacturers warranty so it didn't cost me anything. They gave me the old hard drive so I can see if I can find someone that would be able to get my pictures..etc off of it a little bit cheaper. Best Buy wanted $100 to do it and I just didn't want to spend that much. Tomorrow I will start using it again instead of Ricky's old laptop. I'll need to put a new antivirus on it since the one on it had expired. So excited to be able to use it again.

So glad it's fixed Janet! And I know you have to be happy that it was under warranty Can't you just buy a flash drive to get your pictures?

Great!! Wouldn't it be nice if laptops lasted a long time? I know you're glad to have yours back!

I'm on my third computer in 7 years!!
And NOT because I wanted to upgrade. Always a problem that I had no choice but to buy new. Makes me furious that while technology is at its highest, quality is at its lowest.

Thank goodness you got it back! Funny that we both had the same problem
 Crappy hard drives! You can get the pix back. You need a computer geek to get into your old hard drive and pull out the files.

I hope you can get your files all back Janet! I still keep in touch with my geeky ex boyfriend so when my hard drive went, he charged me for a new one but put it in for free. But he couldn't get anything from the old hard drive... it had wiped itself clean
All of Layla's puppy pictures were on there and I had no backups. I cried! All I have now are memories!

If you ask around a little you'll probably find some computer kid that can get your stuff off for you. Ask Ricky if he knows someone. I'm glad that your computer's up and going!!
