Unique invitation
Dh and I had a meeting with our Amish neighbors tonight to work out the details of the new boundary between our places. We hit it off really well and really liked them both.
They must have thought we were ok too, 'cause they invited us to an amish community auction and supper next Friday evening. They all donate items that they've made to auction off with the proceeds used to pay for medical care for those in their community. (They don't believe in insurance, so this is how they afford medical care.) Now I have my fingers crossed that Greg will get home early enough that we can attend! The neighbor is a woodworker, and said he's donating 2 hand made rocking chairs and 2 dining room chairs. I'd LOVE to be able to snag one of the rockers, but have no idea how high they go at such things. I'm really looking forward to going, so I hope we can make it!

That's great you hit if off with your neighbors! It's a good thing to like one another since you're prolly going to be stuck next to each other for a while!
 I hope you can make it to the auction. Sounds like it would be an great thing to attend!

It sounds like you have really nice neighbors on the other sides of you!!! And going to an Amish auction sounds like a lot of fun. I hope you will be able to get the rocker because it will probably be very well made and out of solid wood. Cool!!!!
