We got 8" of snow at our house, which was a whole lot better than the 17" they got just 10 miles north of me!
Everything was a sloppy, slushy mess! People were getting stuck in the parking spots in front of the bank; on the HWY; and the Interstate was closed for most of the afternoon due to so many vehicles loosing control and ending up in the ditches and crashing into each other. Schools were shut down early, and we saw a marked decrease in customers coming to the bank. With temps hovering around 32 degrees, SLUSH was everywhere. It's supposed to be in the 40s the next few days, so the snow won't be around long. As one of my customers said "The snow was pretty, but we've seen it, so now it can go away until Christmas."
