Ruth passed away quite a few years ago and then when Dick passed, they held an auction. It's so great that I have something of one of the best neighbors you could ask for. Dick was a prankster so it's so fun to relive some of the memories of him and his wife.

Well shoot, I'm going to go ahead and tell you one: I had four wooden ducks out in my yard, the mama and 3 babies. Well one morning I walked out to get the mail. On my way back to the house there were my ducks....... and 3 yellow rubber duckies following behind them. I thought what the heck!!!! Where did those come from. I left them there, but it took months before Dick fessed up to it. He and Ruth had been out shopping and he just couldn't resist playing a trick on me. He even kept a straight face everytime we mentioned to him that we still couldn't figure out who did it. What a character!!

That's neat that you have a phone too and even know the people who used it. It makes things even more special. Do you have it hung up?

Your neighbor sounds like quite a character! It must have been really funny to find those 3 little rubber ducks in your yard with your wooden ones!!! And he even kept a straight face when you mentioned it to him!!!!!! LOL He sounds like someone I would have really liked!!!!!
