Paula, yes it does seem a little gray. But I think it's a good color for a cabin because it's basically a mish-mash of furniture so the color isn't too bold! It's not white, but it's still quite neutral and modern looking.
Diana, I'm having so much fun with the project! My brother goes out there when he has time to work on the electrical stuff and I am helping out with picking colors and painting so we all have something to do. I was really hoping we could spend Christmas out there, but before my dad could hook up the wood stove it snowed and got too cold to try to put the chimney through the roof. Right now there's just electrical heat out there and it's really expensive. My dad just keeps it at 10 degrees C (50 F) so the pipes don't freeze, and we turn it up higher when we're in the cabin. At just 10 degrees it's costing between $200 and $300 a month just to heat ![]()
