That party does not sound like the most fun, but your neighbor seems to be nice!
Those types of parties can make people so uncomfortable, I don't think I could ever host one. Try not to feel obligated, the hosts must know that that stuff is ridiculously overpriced! That sports bra better be diamond encrusted  lol!
