Eyebrow Tatoo

When I was much younger, my family went camping. We camped all the time. Anyway, I was lighting the lamp and it flared up and burnt my eyebrows and melted a little bit of my hair. Didn't really burn my skin or anything. Well since then, my eyebrows have been so skimpy, with just a few hairs popping in. I would love to have my eyebrows tattooed on, but know nothing about it, so here are some questions.........

1. Is it very painful for the eyebrows to be tattooed on?
2. How long does it take?
3. How bad will it look at 60, 70 or 80 years old?
4. Who do you go to...a tattoo artist or a make-up artist?
5. How do you go about finding someone competent to do it?

I am really interested in this because I too, have to draw them on or fill them in a little bit. In the summer, well anytime really, I sweat and then they end up being wiped off. I do have eyebrows, just very thin and far apart.

I have very few hairs as well, so i really needed this. I got tired of drawin my eyebrows and them being uneven.

1. if you've gotten a tattoo, it's exactly what that feels like... if not.. im not going to lie, there is pain involved, but it's not that bad... before you get it done, they put this numbing cream on it, so it's less painful.

2. my eyebrows only took 1 1/2 hours. my cousin who was getting a touch up just took 30 mins.

3. i think it fades with the skin, or i don't know if i make sense, but it blends with it well i guess as you age. my co worker is in her 60's and it still looks nice.. she had them done 12 years prior.

4. you can go to an esthetician to get it done.

5. i think you have to do research on the person, ask to see their work.. stuff like that.. i was lucky that my cousins mom in law is a perfectionist and shes really awesome and has been doing this for so many years. i trusted her and i loved my results.
