Well my first thought was a money market account or a roth IRA since we don't need the money now and we want to buy a house shortly after graduation...but then I realized that we wouldn't get any financial aid for the rest of the time we're in college if the government knew that we had put it into an account rather than using it (it would count as "income"). So instead, I think we are going to pay off rent for a year or half a year so I don't have to deal with it. Maybe the landlords will give a discount for paying that far in advance, lol! Also, after hubby's surgery, it may pay for our little girl yorkie we've been waiting for so we don't have to use our savings.

I know, I'm so boring! lol! But owning my own home is a HUGE dream of mine and I want to get there as quickly as possible, so to me, it's all very exciting.

You girls are probably thinking I should just go to the spa instead!
