Oh, just wanted to make sure you understand, I was not suggesting that anyone drop their meds without consulting with their doc. Natural things sometimes do work and may result in you not needing the meds, but he doc should definitely be the one to make that decision.

Evista is a prescribed medication. Tamoxifin was the drug of choice for people considered high risk for breast cancer. Evista was recently discovered to have the same beneficial effects as Tamoxifin with a lower risk of blood clots. Evista was originally developed for people with osteoporosis, it was later determined that it significantly reduces the risk of breast cancer. Tamoxifin was developed to prevent breast cancer and it was discovered that it had the side benefit of reducing bone loss. Tamoxafin has about the same risk of blood clots as hormone replacement therapy. One of the side effects of both drugs is hot flashes. I'm waiting to see if that happens.
