Well Marilyn I haven't baked it either, my Mom has. And my Grandmother. I think you could use any kind of pan(s) you wanted. Just check it periodically to see if maybe it would get done quicker in round pans
 for a layered cake. My grandmother and my Mom make the layers. Mom is making this for Saturday, I will let ya know I don't know how in the world that this could make your clothes tighter, they probably just shrunk in the dryer
