Paying Bills

I pay my bills online. The checks go via direct deposit into the bank. I never see them. I'm with you Lynne. I have a certain amount sent out every month, and do the rest online. It takes me about 1/2 hour if I am slow about it. All of the bills that can be, are sent to me online, so I don't even have to get the mail.

I love it this way. If all of my bills were consistently the same amount, I would have them all paid automatically. In fact, there are a couple I overpay by a bit so that I cover them every month and they get paid automatically too.

I also use my debit card as a credit card for just about everything, and I straighten that out once or twice a month, what with overdraft and transfers into the checking account.

If I had to deal with anybody else's bills, like a husband's, it would have to be done my way too, and I surely don't want anybody else taking care of my stuff!

This is, yet, one more reason that I am still single
