Love the pics Lindsey and the flowers you got for your mom are so pretty. I just can't believe all that snow, it sure is pretty, but I hope we don't get any!

The snow is supposed to melt this weekend. The forecast says it will be about 15 C (59 F) on Saturday. That's good news because my motorcycle is covered in snow right now, and I need to get it across the city into Scott's friend's garage for the winter Then it can snow all it wants!

Hi Lindsay, thanks so much for sharing your Thanksgiving pictures with us. But you didn't tell us what you had to EAT - the most important event at Thanksgiving J/K - spending time with family is definitely most important!!!

Thanks so much for those pictures! I never see that much snow in Texas in 10 years!!! My 13 year old granddaughter has never seen that much snow - she's only seen the dustings we have in Texas!

I love the pix of the cabin and especially the pics of Layla!!! She is so adorable!

Gayle, just wait until it's actually winter here, I'll show you what snow is REALLY like

The cabinets in the cabin are wood. My dad's friend actually made them The house belonged to his grandparents. They were just stained a really light orangish color, and we wanted to go for a darker look.

And here's what we ate ... Turkey, stuffing, cooked turnips, mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, and sliced cucumbers. I didn't even have room in my tummy for pumpkin pie. About 10 minutes after we had finished eating my mom said "Oh! We forgot to eat cabbage rolls!" they were all pre-made and in the fridge lol. But I brought them home to eat here lol. There were only three of us there so it was more than enough food!
