Will definitely keep your mother in my prayers. I hope she gets some positive info at her appointment. That's a big decision to make at her age and a lot to go thru. My husband's mother had knee replacement at age 80 and we took care of her during the recovery. It was rough, but she gets around fine now.

I too said a prayer for your mom.

I know several people who have had knee replacement done and most have done very well after. As with any surgery, there are risks, but if she wants quality in her life and wants to keep in good health otherwise, she needs to be able to walk. I hope this works out well for her!

Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. My mom goes to the orthopedist today at 2:00 - I hope to know tonight what may happen. I'll let you all know
