Ohhh Diana i am so sorry for you and hope things get better. It is awful when our kids fight against us - why cant they realise we are only trying to look out for them, and try and stop them making mistakes......?????

Sometimes they dont realise how much we hurt over things said and done.

I dont know what has happened, but just wanted to say you are not on your own, any time you want to talk i am here.
My daughter is 24 and we too have difficulties at times, it is so hard when your children are older... much easier when they are young and in our control and do as we say.

I am sure you will all get over whatever has happened, why cant life be sweet?

Keep yourself positive, and stop feeling bad, i am sure you are a good mum....

I'm so sorry Diana! I'm so glad your son took the time to talk to you. You are a wonderful mother, and a truly good person. Sometimes, our children don't see what's in front of them. They will see the truth. I know how our children can hurt us, but Jessie and I are the best of friends now. It took time, and I was also so hurt, but it is always for the best.

Diana, I'm glad that you feel you can stay home - hopefully, you'll feel like going to the shower too. It's really tough when there is lots of stressful time, e.g., a wedding, new baby and the like. I hope things settle down soon! Love you!

Things are looking sooo much better now!! My daughter, Amy, came over and we had a talk and straightened some things out. We both apologized to each other and I feel so much better. This wedding has us all on edge. There's been a lot of miscommunication and no communication. A conversation that was relayed to another that was made worse than it actually was when e-mailed to another. It's just been a mess. I'm glad that I stayed home for the shower.....it will be so much more fun knowing that we're not all upset with each other.

You know Diana, I never dreamed I could have such good friends through the internet. Just a few years ago, I would have thought this impossible!!! I know what you mean about telling you all things I don't talk to anyone else about! It is just amazing.

I'm so glad that things are much better now! The weekend will be filled with gifts and laughter. It will be so much fun to see what Jaci gets at the shower.

It's amazing what hurt feelings miscommunication or no communication can cause. I'm glad you and Amy had a chance to talk things out. Now you can go and enjoy the shower and that makes me so happy for you.
