It's so hard to lose a loved one but when they're hurting and in pain and we know that they're heaven-bound it makes it a little bit easier. You know that your Dad is on the streets of Heaven shouting "Glory to God" and isn't in any pain but witnessing all that Jesus has prepared for him!! Good-byes are always hard but we don't actually say "Good-bye". We say "See ya' later!!" Hugs to you and your family.

Hi Paula

I too have recently lost someone very very close to me - my Aunt, I am trying to get through it as best i can, she too died peacefully which i am thankful for. I also believe she is now in a better place with all of her family, watching us.

Take care.

Paula, I'm sorry you are having such a hard time, I pray that with time your heart will heal and you will enjoy all the good memories of your dad again.

Paula...I'm so sorry for your pain. In time the pain eases somewhat because the memories we have keep them with us. Cherish them...and hold them close.

Paula, this is such a strange transition time for your family right now. It feels so different. It is hard, but at the same time I know you are grateful he is no longer suffering. It is bittersweet. I know you want him back, but he is no longer suffering and is pain free now. Time will help

I'm sorry Paula.. I don't have any words of wisdom for you. It's just so very hard! Laugh when you want to, cry when you need to, and sleep when you can.

It is so sad to lose a parent. I still miss my Dad, but have come to realize that I will be with him again in Heaven.

You are in my heart and my prayers.
