Thanks. Good news, he's been served, gotten a lawyer, and sent an answer. Should get to settle soon. Trust me, I don't want to be doing this at 60 and believe strongly in marriage. I believe God wants me to be happy and blesses the divorce or I'd still be over there.

Sandy.....I admire you so much for doing what you need to do. Of course I don't know the whole story, but some time I hope we get to talk about it. I've always been afraid....especially since I don't have a high paying job and at my age....not sure who would want to hire me. Right now I have my mother living with us and my husband has been really great about everything. I wish you well dear friend.

Oh, I'm glad to hear that - I hope it is over soon - dragging unpleasantness out does not promote peace of mind and that is what you need now, after this ordeal. I hope it is over soon! Stay strong.

I too hope that everything goes smoothly and quickly for you. My Mom is one of the most wonderful people I know but getting a divorce from my Dad was one of the best things that she ever did!!! I know that good things are around the corner for you!!!!

Sandy, welcome back, and I'm very sorry for the circumstances. I believe in marriage too, but I also believe that sometimes you need to put yourself and your happiness first. I'm sure you've made the right decision for yourself. Good luck with finding a house!
