We've been having blizzards all week! In about 2 and a half days we got about 25 cms... which is about 10 and a half inches. We've had windchills during the day of -35 degrees C... I'm going to try to convert that for you guys lol... -31 degrees F. Anyways, I've been at school until after dark for the past week and it's a cold walk home with the blowing snow! But it definitely feels like Christmas!

I hope everyone is safe & warm today! I thought about all of you last night after I read this thread and saw the weather warnings on tv.

I love cold weather (no hormones ) but not to the point of anyone being in danger.

I just came in from taking my yorkies out and it's really muggy here this morning. It's 6:30 and I'm about to head to my parents' house to check on them before work ( I do it everyday) . I can't believe how hot it is outside! I think we'll have thunderstorms before it's all over today.

Ya'll stay safe!

My goodness, this morning the wind was blowing so hard I thought it would blow the bus off the road! On my way home from dropping the kids off, we had a mixture of rain and snow, but right now the sun is shining. No snow on the ground and I just pray it passes right by us. We'll see!

Nobody's really gotten out yet this morning, but I shoveled off a small area around the front porch for Reuger to go to the bathroom. The snow was even with the top of my porch!! Probably around 13-14 inches. It could just be a drift around the front porch. The wind blew so hard all day yesterday that we probably have some really big drifts.

We got out in the worst of it (1-2 inches an hour!!) and drove around (we have a 4-wheel drive Tahoe). We were busting drifts and at one time we hit a large one and it was like a wave of snow going over the top of the Tahoe!! It was fun and something that I hadn't done for a long time!! Gotta' love having a redneck husband!!!!

The kids are planning on coming over and sledding down the hill, so I'll have a house full of company today. I 'll have to put a big pot of ham and beans on for everyone. Daughter #2 is bringing over a new boyfriend and his 10 yr. old son. I plan on watching out the windows and having the hot cocoa ready when everyone comes in. It's gonna' be a fun day!!! Wish all of ya' could come and play with us!!!
